Yokubou (a.k.a. Desire) is an erotic love story from Shinohara Tesuo, the director of Heaven's Bookstore. Based on the best-selling novel, the film tells the story of Ruiko, played by Itaya Yuka, a junior high schoolgirl. She has been in love with a boy named Masami (Murakami Jun) for years, but she has never revealed her feelings to him. Masami is in love with Ruiko's best friend, Asao. Several years later, however, Ruiko crosses paths with Masami again, and this time she has the confidence to express her desires for him physically. But Masami has changed since last they met. As a result of a serious car accident, Masami is now sexually crippled.
