Sinopsis momentánea en inglés: Edge (game of mutual hit with whip) is a tradition in a village in East Java. But, the whip was a tool of terror for Suro (Rendra Karno) to rule the village. Because left his father, who died in the battle of the tip, Kasan (Bambang Irawan) advised his mother to become a farmer only. Kasan's efforts to fertilize the soil are considered a challenge by Suro, as Kasan manages to convince other villagers. They even managed to make a pinwheel to drain water on their barren land. Another problem arises, Marni (Aminah Cendrawasih) who loves and is loved by Kasan, not approved by her father, Suro. Marni is married to Karnen (Sukarno M. Noor), Suro's men. After being tortured by Karnen, Kasan learned to play the end. What makes Suro angry is Marni's departure to Kasan's house, but it was kidnapped by another swordsman. Once free, Marni will not come home. So Kasan challenged Suro's duel, and Kasan won. Suro persuaded Marni to surrender, so as not to die. Then the whole village became peaceful and farming.
