Synopsis:
Following a painful separation, broken-hearted Leyla (Fahriye Evcen) decides to return home to recuperate from the trauma. But there's an additional challenge. She must also repair the broken bonds with her strict authoritarian father, Selim (Sait Gunay). Her path soon crosses with that of Iskender (Ozcan Deniz). An emotionally damaged construction worker who was raised in an orphanage, he lives alone and has never had a home to call his own. The mutual attraction is apparent from their first exchanged glance, but love takes longer to blossom. Unfortunately, the couple couldn't be more different. She's been scarred by her experiences, while his life has been characterised by loneliness. He also struggles to imagine life as a husband. Dramón romántico, remake de la surcoreana Nae meorisokui jiwoogae (
A Moment To Remember) del 2004, a su vez basada en una serie de TV japonesa (Pure Soul, 2001).
Un remake que me ha parecido excelente, que se basa en la coreana sin llegar a ser un calco y que respeta lo remakeado añadiendo cosas de la cultura turca.
Una banda sonora preciosa, una actuaciones solventes (la chica me ha enamorado), y una estética visual muy bonita, en una película que me ha sorprendido, ya que no esperaba que fuera un remake tan bueno.
No os fiéis de la nota del IMDB, ya sabemos cómo tienden a tratar el cine asiático. Todo lo que huela a competencia de yankilandia (con sus lamentables remakes y continuaciones infinitas), es machacado sin piedad con demasiada frecuencia en sus notas bastante parciales.
Me pongo con la traducción, no son cortos pero tienen los tiempos bien colocados en su sitio, así que será una traducción muy agradable.
