May (Amanda Lee) returns from the USA when she inherits her dead sister's flat but strange things start happening, like visitors being thrown out of windows, and she becomes convinced that the house is haunted. Thinking that the occurrences may be linked to her sister she decides to investigate the circumstances behind the death. Helping her is Fai, a clerk working for the firm of solicitors handling the inheritance and Michael, his friend. The two men soon find themselves rivals for May's attentions but both handle it in a good natured fashion and its this thread that lends the film its light nature. When the ghostly goings-on start to get out of hand the three turn to Yung (Simon Lui), an expert in the supernatural.
