For almost 30 years, Tinne's governor / landlord Yusuf Aga has been writing letters of applications to the State institutions in order to be recognized, with the main objective of achieving a legal identification. This is why he has worked hard for having Ibrahim, his son, to study and achieve a position to save the village. Ibrahim, taken under Priest Hanna's legal parentage in order to have a legal identification, has returned back home after completing his studies and military service. But he has a surprise for everybody; he wants to get married to Jessica who lives in Colorado, US.
There starts the evolving of the film, with funny controversies on cultural conflicts as well as global politic circumstances surrounding them.
Questions are, would Kurdish Ibrahim and American Jessica find a common land for their love? Could "non-existing" Tinne be a love-land for them? Is love strong enough to make American and Middle East people, who almost hate each other after September 11th, come and live together friendly?
