An under-appreciated entry among the Chinese New Year films of 2010, Here Comes Fortune is nonetheless a typical crowd-pleaser with all the essential elements of a Spring Festival fare: family-friendly comedy, a storyline that involves buckets of money, and an ensemble cast packed with celebrities. Written and directed by James Yuen, the fantasy romantic comedy boasts a star-studded cast headed by Canto-pop icon Alan Tam, who dons the costume of the God of Fortune and leads his fellow money gods Kitty Zhang (CJ7) and Lam Tze Chung (Shaolin Soccer) to earth. "Principal" Tam's mission is to help a hapless office lady (Hong Kong diva Miriam Yeung) to achieve success in life, but an accident renders him without memories and magic powers. Lam Tze Chung transforms into a 10-year-old girl to reward $100 million to a good-hearted nurse (Mainland actress Tao Hong), while Kitty Zhang gives blind pianist (Taiwan actor Chang Chen) something more valuable than gold. Along the way they meet other characters played by Sandrine Pinna, Carl Ng, Richard Ng, Ella Koon, Cheng Pei Pei, Kenneth Tsang, Wu Ma, Lee Lik Chi, Tin Kai Man, Tats Lau, Vincent Kok...and tons more cameos that could outnumber 72 Tenants of Prosperity!

Up high in the heaven, the God of Fortune together with the fairies just come up with an assignment, they wish to do something for the well being of humans some good deeds not just filling up their empty wallet but also for their deprived souls. With the God of Fortune leading the team, they all arrivve on the land to spread love and wealthy to the needy. However, they are quite ignorant of the deviance between themselves and humans, what sometimes lead to a lot of misunderstandings and jokes.
