At the 16th century century, a famous prostitute is assassinated in front of her mirror. Before dying, it launches a curse. From now on, the future purchasers of the piece of furniture will know a tragic destiny. In the Twenties, Mary, a paraplegic young person, is seen offering the mirror in gift. But this one made re-appear at it memories of a painful past; reasons of its paralysis and the mystery which surrounds death of her husband. 1988 in Singapore, Mr. James, talented lawyer, must defend a marked man of rape and murder. His/her new boyfriend settles at his place with the mirror. Mr. James accepts finally the business. Under the influence of the mirror, it becomes covetous and violent until the day when it is victim of an car accident. Eleven years afterwards, Ming, accompanied by his/her Judy friend, visit returns to his/her large aunt and her Yu cousin to HongKong. The couple buys the mirror. Soon, a faintness settles between Judy and Yu and aunt de Ming disappears. Yu will be marked of these strange events…
