Citar
Synopsis: "Running Seven Dogs" is a unique and somewhat strange film in terms of style. The characters in the film are all bad, except clerk girl, and they are all after gang's money with respective reason. In this regard, the film borrows the characters and story line from macaroni western genre films. On the other hand, the film is a black comedy with unpredictable situations and a crime thriller with pitiless violence. Overall the film is a revolt against the traditional genre movies, which is very new to Korean cinema.
Part time taxi driver Ki-hoon's only wish is to live a happy and peaceful life together with his girlfriend, Hyun-hee. One day, Ki-hoon runs over a man while driving at dawn and his dog day begins. On the same day before the car accident, a gangleader's mistress and her lover had stolen gang's money and were hiding in a hotel room. They were attacked by hit men, cops (Kil-soo and Jae-sung) and stupid killers (Light Man and the Pipe Man). Thanks to stupid killers (they mistook the room number 606 for 909), the man escapes from the hotel. But soon, he is run over by a taxi which Ki-hoon was driving. Ki-hoon leaves the money bag with Hyun-hee who is working at 24 hour convenience store. Finally hit men, cops and killers arrive at Hyun-hee's store…
