Madamada abunai deka (2005)

In 1986, a hardboiled Japanese police show called Abudeka mixed equal parts comedy and drama to win the hearts of viewers across the nation! The ratings were so high that when the show completed its initial run, it was soon followed by three feature films - Abunai Deka, Mata Mata Abunai Deka, and Motomo Abunai Deka! The franchise went into hibernation until 1996, when Abunai Deka Returns reached theatres, only to be followed by a 1998 TV special and yet another film, Abunai Deka Forever! Now, it would seem, that the time is ripe for yet another installment in the wildly popular series - Madamada Abunai Deka!

The main heroes of the series, Takayama "Taka" Toshiki (Tachi Hiroshi) and Oshita Yuji (Shibata Kyohei), have returned as undercover cops looking to crack an arms deal involving nuclear weapons. Through a series of events in which the two men are attacked by gunfire, Taka and Yuji are brought into their old police station for questioning. Both were thought to be long dead after disappearing in the sea at Yokohama Port years ago, so needless to say, their old colleagues are more than a little surprised to see these two return from the "dead"!

Taka and Yuji, however, are shocked to learn that Bitoh, a bank robber they put away nearly a decade ago has busted out of the penitentiary. It seems that he's the one taking potshots at our resurrected heroes, so they decide to go after him, taking two young cops along for the ride, Mizushima (Sato Ryuta) and Kanuma (Kuboza Shunsuke). Along the way, they visit their old friend who has become a president of a venture company. But just as his pretty secretary, Ryoko, (Hara Sachie) welcomes them, Nishimura takes a bullet! With time running out and the bodies piling up, Taka and Yuji have to solve the case, recover a missing nuke, and save Japan from total annihilation! Hey, for these guys, it's just all in a day's work! With Atsuko Asano and Nakamura Toru reprising their roles as Mayama Kaoru and Machida Toru, Madamada Abunai Deka may just be best entry in the series yet!

Por más que lo intento no dejo de leer en el título "Mamada Abunai..."  jajaja
