Life has its ups and downs but different people respond differently. A woman named Ah Sei (Deannie Yip) in spite of her illegitimate marriage, the meaninglessness in her life, and absence of support from friends and relatives, nevertheless has great hope for her future.Ah Sei meets a Chinese herbalist Tung Ka Ming and falls deeply in love with him. She then follows him to Hong Kong, and discovers that Tung is already married.Thematically, this film is all about perseverance and plugging away consistently for love and passions.
