Directed by Ting Shan Si (Whiplash), the 1971 Taiwan martial arts flick The Ghost Hill stars Tien Peng (The Swordsman of All Swordsman) and heroine of the day Polly Shang Kwan (The Brave and The Evil) in one of their many collaborations during the 1970s. Holding fort at "Ghost Hill", ruthless bandit king Jing (Xue Han) and his followers prey on the local population and authorities. With their superior martial arts and weapons, they have turned Ghost Hill into a living Purgatory that traps all those who dare enter. When Jing hears that swordsman Cai (Tien Peng) has acquired the mystical Purple Light Sword after winning an epic martial arts duel against Feng (Tang Wei), he launches a dastardly plan to get the sword himself. He sends one henchman to pose as Feng and kill Cai's master, and another to pose as Cai and kill Feng's master, throwing the martial arts world into chaos.
