When Jjang-gu enters a high school in Busan, he becomes a member of a gang called the Monsters. It's not that he was dying to join. Rather, it was just a natural move for a high school boy at the time. By being one of the Monsters, Jjang-gu learns to be a real man.
Wish reveals Jeong Woo as the main character with his true stories of his teenage.
The film also has real characters who were real people in Jeong Woo's life.
The actor told director Lee Seong-han about his teenage in high school and the director decided to make it into a film and the work on the scenario was started right away.
