Award-winning Hong Kong actor Anthony Wong stars in Awakening, a bizarre horror comedy featuring another of the celebrated actor's offbeat star turns! Wong is Liu Sheng Meng, a do-it-all spiritual conduit who may be bilking his customers for all they're worth. He professes to be a Feng Shui expert, a mind reader, a psychic, and numerous other occupations of a supernatural affiliation. Enter Lam Cho Wen (Simon Yam), a vengeful fellow who feels that Liu Sheng Meng is responsible for the death of his wife and child. To get his revenge, he courts Liu's wife, and hatches numerous schemes to drive Liu mad, and expose his status as a fraud.
