Descripción momentánea en inglés: The Girl in Red is a charming film that opens with a wonderful girl running along a road asking an endless series of questions.
The heroine of the film, the sixteen year old who the liitle girl grows up to be, named An-ran and nicknamed Ran Ran, gets in repeated trouble because she refuses blind obedience to authority, openly challenging and correcting a teacher who makes a mistake in class.

Laughing at the mannequins in shop windows all dressed in standardized blue uniforms, she herself wears a unique bright red tunic.
She cannot accept hypocrisy and mediocrity as well.
