After starring in 128 films, screen diva Shima Iwashita appears in her first comedy with this tale about finding the perfect grave. The film opens with Setsu Sakurazaki (Iwashita), a pampered middle-aged actress on a film set playing the dying mother of a schoolgirl (Yumi Adachi) for a schlocky melodrama. Later, Sakurazaki learns that she has cancer and only three months to live. Without telling her agent (Hitomi Takahashi) or studio head (Isao Hashizume) about her ailment, she dresses herself as a kimonoed grandmother and sets out to look for a grave. Unfortunately having lived a life of coddled luxury, she doesn't have a clue about how to get one, though she knows she wants the best. A straight-laced salesman (Yoshihiko Hakamada) agrees to take her as a client, a choice he soon regrets.
