The 2006 suspense thriller Undying Heart is best known for being the first film that TVB's top actress Flora Chan (Healing Hands, The File of Justice V) gave a sexy starring turn in. She plays Nam, an innocent and amiable girl afflicted with speech disorder. She is in love with college classmate Wah (Andrew Lien), but one day, she leaves without a trace and none of her friends has seen her again...until years later, when she surprisingly shows up at the bar run by her college pals Man (Ken Wong) and Ellen (Patricia Liu). As Nam comes back into his life, Wah is split between her and his current girlfriend Karen (Natalie Ng). Unbeknownst to everyone, there is actually a secret agenda behind Nam's sudden reappearance. Written and directed by Mak Wing Lun (an assistant director of The Warlords), Undying Heart also stars handsome actor Carl Ng, character actor Lam Suet, and Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actress Helena Law Lan.
