SINOPSIS

Fantastic Parasuicides is an omnibus film consisting of three short films that come together under the common theme of “suicide.”

Hanging Tough [암흑속의 세사람]

Gina falls asleep in the library and misses and important exam. Trying to commit suicide, she jumps from the roof of her school, but finds herself totally fine. Afterwards, she meets three other people: Min-ho, who wants to bring peace to the world with his handmade bomb; a school nurse, who feels love towards Gina; and finally, a chief teacher suffers from the delusion that somebody is trying to kill him. But there is one thing that they have in common: they are all trying to kill themselves. Everything happening at school is so bizarre and confusing to Gina. Whether she wants to or not, she gets into unexpected and gruesome fights with them. Can she save all of them and the world in the end?

A helpless man who has failed as a cop decides to take his own life. He heads for a secluded beach where he witnesses some guys sexually assaulting woman one night. He ignores the incident, thinking that there is no point eliminating just one evil person. However, the next morning, while pointing the gun at his head, he sees the two guys from last night hanging around with the dead woman's dress on the beach. There are only three bullets in his gun. He uses two to kill the guys and is about to use the final one for himself. Then suddenly, another guy lying under the sand catches his eyes. He starts to chase the guy.

Happy Birthday [해피버스데이]

It is another birthday for a 70-year-old man who lives alone. He expects someone to help him celebrate his birthday but nobody remembers that it's his birthday. Giving up on life, he decides to throw himself in front of a train to kill himself. At the moment, he comes across a young man with a bag of cash who is trying to kill himself as well. The young man used to work for a funeral service as the hearse driver, but ran away with the money. Since he thinks there's no was to escape the gangsters trailing him, he'd made up his mind to commit suicide. After both fail in their suicide attempts, the young man with the old man tagging along, get in the hearse and flee to the container docks at the port of Incheon. After switching clothes with one another, the young man climbs into the coffin inside the hearse and the old man tries lures the gangsters away...

La dejo apuntadísima para bajarla en un futuro, pero ya no puedo traducir compulsivamente todas las coreanas, y es que estoy casi KO con los coreanos para ir al día, ya no puedo todas...

La película no es gran cosa, tres historias de suicidios a cada cual más friki, siendo la segunda la más floja. Las dos restantes tienen algún punto gracioso, pero tampoco dan mucho de sí. "Ver si no hay otra cosa", vamos.

La película no es gran cosa, tres historias de suicidios a cada cual más friki, siendo la segunda la más floja. Las dos restantes tienen algún punto gracioso, pero tampoco dan mucho de sí. "Ver si no hay otra cosa", vamos.

Ya tenía olvidada esta película, hasta que han llegado los subs de xara, por lo que ya no había excusa. Muchas gracias de nuevo, por cierto, cuando quieras puedes traducir otra...

La peli no está mal, tres cortos con distinto nivel como suele ser habitual en este tipo de películas, a mí me han gustado en sentido decreciente, ya que la primera está bastante bien con su guión lleno de toques absurdos.
La segunda no me ha disgustado pero es la más lenta, teniendo unos ligeros toques de comedia que al final han hecho que me acabe gustando.
La tercera no me estaba metiendo mucho en la historia, además es la más larga, pero esos últimos 10 minutos me han gustado mucho, y el final es bonito. La pega de esta última es la duración.

En global la he votado con un "Ver".
