In a typical Hong Kong police melodrama, five young men join a special corps of elite officers but first they have to pass a brutal training program run by a hard-nosed, uncompromising "drill sergeant." When one of them falls in love with a local woman and gets into trouble for it, the buddies can sympathize. But no one could predict the tragedy that would soon follow.
